Since its inception in 1982, and as part of EPRI program for petroleum development, EPRI onshore and offshore inspection and quality assurance groups, have continued to strengthen and enhance their capabilities to meet the challenges of the technological advancements in the fields of coating systems. Backed with eleven years of experience, surfaces protection center (SPC) quality assurance groups now cover:
- Inspection of three layer PE and PP coating systems and their field joints, Inspection of single and dual layer FBE system, Developments insulation of petroleum pipe-lines with foam systems.
- Testing and evaluation of coating materials, Internal lining and Evaluation and protection of petroleum projects from corrosion. In 1990, EPRI invaded the field of onshore by successful completion of many onshore and offshore projects including inspection of 7000km pipe lengths for different petroleum companies. EPRI will extend its distinguished quality professional services and continue its mission with a vibrant determination for ultimate success. In addition to its experience in this field, EPRI offers its technical information as a consultant in this field for some of petroleum companies.
SPC quality assurance of EPRI is leader in the field of coating, lining, insulation and testing of coating materials for major projects completed in Egypt. Through its group, EPRI provides the following services:
