1-The center has developed the production of: blown asphalt instead of the imported coal tar.
2-Special types of asphalt (e.g.40/50 asphalt, and heavy-duty asphalt) Production of isolating materials, joint sealant material for use in different sectors as industry, drainage, agriculture, bridges, and Airports. The Estipulate scale unit for production

3-Special types of polymeric asphalt, which has been treated with polymers, rubbers, and polyurethane (Thermoplastic asphalt) for use in the pavement of bridges airports and garages.
4-Emulsified asphalt, emulsified asphalt and for types of polymers (latex, synthetic rubber, etc... ) for use in the fixation of sand dunes, Paving, soil fixation, agriculture and isolations ...etc. Different types of bituminous primers and treated bituminous Primers with polymers, rubber as isolating materials.
5-The center has developed the production of bituminous materials for use as a protection layer on the pavement surface. (Including water resistance resistance to organic solvents and flow under heat) General View of Concrete canal after finishing Asphalt joint sealant ( Sharked Govern ate )
The center has supplied diversified services to the roads and bridges sectors and other related organizations (building construction, agriculture, and drainage's sectors)
The center undertakes Consultancy services to asphalt producers and various use organizations.
Training courses undertaken by the center cover:
fundamentals and classifications of bituminous materials production of different types of bituminous materials application of different types of bituminous materials Trainees include personnel from paving and bridges companies building construction companies, petroleum sector and universities.
